Each quarter, we highlight one General Manager whose leadership, performance, and dedication to their team stand out across our portfolio. This quarter, we are proud to recognize Sininta’ London, General Manager of Hampton Inn St. Louis-Columbia, as Mehr’s GM of the Quarter.
Sininta’s leadership reflects the values we appreciate across our portfolio: a hands-on approach, strong communication, and a clear commitment to supporting both team performance and property success. Her recognition reflects the work she has put in, the culture she continues to build, and the results that follow.
Celebrating Sininta’ London’s Leadership Approach
Can you share a little about your journey in hospitality and what inspired you to become a General Manager?
I have been in the hotel industry for over 10 years, I started at the front desk and have worked my way into every position possible. I love the hospitality industry from the new faces daily to the employees that work just as hard as I do. I have always strived for more experience and have always wanted to be in management and hopefully one day I can take a step further and join HR!
What do you believe sets your leadership style apart, and how has it impacted your team and property?
I am very hands on. I make sure to check in with staff members and get their opinions. Sometimes I am not always available to be upstairs and see what's going on, I get their inputs and see how we can make things better as a whole. I help in all departments and assure them I would not ask of anything from you that I would not do myself. I communicate with my team! Communication is key for a healthy work environment.
What’s something unique, creative, or exciting you’ve introduced at your property that you’re especially proud of?
Checklist! I have come up with new checklist for all departments that help with not only staying on top of daily, weekly and monthly tasks, but also help staying prepared for QA.
This award recognizes you as GM of the Quarter. What do you feel contributed most to earning this recognition?
The great HR team I have around me! They communicate in a timely manner, help with constant training, assist with any questions, and are constantly praising me and assuring my good work!
What motivates you in your role, and what advice would you share with other hospitality leaders striving to make an impact?
My motivation is knowing I am making a great impact on my property. I see the numbers, and the reviews, and it makes me want to keep doing a great job!
What’s it like working for a Mehr-managed property, and how would you describe the team culture that makes your property successful?
I love working for Mehr Consultancy! Since I have joined the team, I have had so much help I had not had before. Everyone is attentive, they respond in a timely manner, they communicate and update on everything. I love that they have boards and checklists to help keep track of everything and have so many ways of communicating with other properties. They are the true definition of teamwork makes the dream work!
